Johnson Forging Equipment Co.

Johnson Forging Equipment Company was founded in 1966 by Al Johnson, today his sons Neil Johnson and Kevin Baker carry on the fine craftsmanship, integrity and quality that has become synonymous with Johnson's. Serving the Great Lakes area, Canada, and nationwide as a supplier to manufacturers, Johnson's provides a complete range of services.

Johnson's array of machinery supports the rapid production necessary to provide "on-time" delivery of products and services to our customers. When our customers call for tooling repair we recognize the impact that this has on their production and we respond accordingly. . Multiple CAD, CNC, EDM conventional mills and experienced forging designers optimize the process to produce the most efficient and cost effective forging solution.

Johnson's philosophy is simply to work with the customer to identify problems, then help solve them at a price that is consistent and fair. This commitment extends beyond providing dies and tooling to the design of our customers’ forging processes.

“We are proud of the close, long-term relationships we have with our customers,” says Kevin, “We regard this as a testimony to the quality of our services and the consistent value we deliver.”

Our approach is to be responsive to our customer’s needs while being sensitive to timing, budget, and of course, quality issues,” says Neil, “Our customers appreciate our experience, reliability, and cooperation.”

At Johnsons the people are as critical as the machines they utilize. Every employee is trained in Johnson’s unique mixture of time-tested forging techniques from conventional die sinking to the latest CNC and CMM technology.

Knowing the business, knowing the industry, & knowing the customer, this is how we accomplish the important things like designing a die to extract the longest life while maintaining critical dimensions or expediting repairs to get dies back into production.

Kevin Baker and Neil Johnson are fourth generation diesinkers that not only bring a high level of craftsmanship but also innovative ideas which, when combined with today’s latest technology, provide solid solutions for a changing industry.
